Root & Renewal Counseling

Compassionate, evidence-informed counseling that looks beyond symptoms to understand what may be happening beneath the surface. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.

My Approach

Whole-Person Care

Therapy considers the emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual factors that may be affecting your well-being.

Individualized Therapy

Counseling is tailored to your experiences, needs, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Evidence-informed Care

I integrate established clinical approaches with practical strategies to help you understand underlying patterns and create meaningful change.

Skilled Professional

I am an experienced counselor dedicated to guiding clients through their healing journey. I utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective outcomes.

I believe meaningful change begins with understanding the whole person—not simply treating symptoms. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore what may be beneath the surface and move toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.

Elizabeth Graves, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

I believe effective therapy begins with understanding the person, not simply treating a diagnosis. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where you can explore what's happening beneath the surface and develop practical tools for meaningful change.

My clinical experience includes helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, life transitions, cross-cultural experiences, missionaries and Third Culture Kids, as well as integrating a whole-person approach to emotional wellness.

For clients who desire it, faith and Christian principles can also be thoughtfully incorporated into the counseling process.

Supportive, practical supervision for developing clinicians

I provide clinical supervision for social workers working toward independent clinical licensure. My approach to supervision is collaborative, encouraging, and practical, with an emphasis on helping clinicians develop confidence in both their clinical judgment and professional identity.

Supervision may include case conceptualization, assessment and treatment planning, ethical decision-making, documentation, boundaries, use of self in therapy, trauma-informed practice, navigating challenging clinical situations and preparing for the clinical exam.

Because every clinician brings different experiences and goals to supervision, our work will be individualized to your professional development needs.

Clinical supervision is available for social workers pursuing independent clinical licensure in:
